Online platform for intermediary services for the purchase and sale of goods Cookie Policy

The present Cookie Policy (the “Cookie Policy”) contains the rules and conditions under which personally identifiable information (hereinafter “Personal Data”) is processed with automatic means and digital tracking technologies within the online platform operated by the company for intermediary services for the purchase and sale of goods (the “Platform”).

This Cookie Policy represents an integral part of the Privacy Policy of the company. Please read both documents carefully as they contain important information with regards to the processing of customer-related personal data and customers’ legal rights under the General Data Protection Regulation.

DATA CONTROLLER

The Platform is property of the company (hereinafter, “We” or “Us”). All processing of personal data collected with regards to the Platform and its functions and contents is carried out by the company on valid legal grounds. Any information that third-party websites collect is subject to those respective entities’ own privacy policies.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small file that is sent to the browser in use and saved on your device when you visit the website of the Platform. Cookies allow the Platform to function efficiently and improve its services, in addition to providing information to the Platform's owner for statistical or advertising purposes, primarily to personalise your navigation experience by remembering your preferences (for example, your settings, in order to recognise you at the next visit, etc.)

Upon first visit from a certain IP address the user shall be asked to provide his or her consent for the use of digital tracking technologies (cookies) for functionality and/or marketing purposes as well as to familiarize himself or herself with the rules under which the company shall process his or her personal data, without giving him/her the option to consent to the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Mandatory processing with regards to necessary cookies shall begin immediately upon the user’s visit to the website of the Platform. All cookies used by the company as well as information whether their use is mandatory for the user are listed below in Appendix №1.

As specified in the brief informational note in the banner, by clicking the consent button the user shall enable the use of non-mandatory (functionality, analytics and marketing) cookies. The user may provide his/her consent at a later moment or disable the use of these non-mandatory cookies by the cookie settings menu or by using the browser cookie settings as specified below.

WHICH COOKIES DO WE USE AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES?

The Website of the Platform can use the following types of cookies:

session cookies which are temporary, and usually your computer deletes them after you leave the respective webpage, close your browser, or turn off your computer; and

persistent cookies which are stored on your device for a certain period of time, indicated in the parameters of the cookies and this period can be longer than a year, or until you decide to delete them manually. These cookies could be used again the next time you visit the website of the Platform.

Essential cookies: these cookies are strictly necessary for the website of the Platform in order to perform its features. For example certain cookies allow us to identify registered users. If a registered user turns off these cookies, s/he wouldn’t be able to access content that is available in connection with his/her registration;

Performance cookies: these cookies are not essential for the functioning of the website of the Platform, but rather collect anonymous data about the way in which the visitors use it. These cookies provide data about the visited pages, the time spent on the website of the Platform, and the issues that may have occurred, for example – an error message. This data helps us improve the effectiveness of the website of the Platform;

Functionality cookies: these cookies are not essential but they improve your visits to the website of the Platform, by remembering your personal preferences, so it won’t be necessary to enter your information every time, after you have already submitted it once. These cookies may, for example, store data like your username, language or preferred location. These cookies allow us to personalize your visit to the website of the Platform and to provide you with personalized characteristics.

Third-party cookies:

The Website of the Platform can allow the use of “third-party cookies”. These cookies are managed by the policies of the corresponding third-parties and we don’t have control over them. The types of third-party cookies used are mentioned below. Some of them can be turned off, by using the general settings of the user’s browser. As for the other cookies, the users must visit the respective websites and follow the instructions available. Apart from disabling cookies via the website of the Platform users may control the use of digital tracking technologies by adjusting their browser settings. Nevertheless, we kindly remind the users of our Platform that disabling mandatory, i.e. “strictly necessary” or functionality cookies may deteriorate user experience as it may cause certain features or the website of the Platform as a whole to not function properly.

Please note that this Cookie Policy has been drawn up and is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679/EU). Insofar as the General Data Protection Regulation does not apply, this Privacy Policy shall be regulated by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Changes in the applicable laws including the GDPR might require Us to amend this policy from time to time. We shall inform you for any such changes to this policy to the email address provided by you for receiving communications.
